The other night, I had a great dream. I was riding a pony through green fields and the sun was shining. I stopped for a second beside a stream for my pony to drink, and a duck walked up to me and started talking. "How are you?" asked the duck. "I'm fantastic!" I said. Then the duck handed me an egg. I held it in my hands for a second and then it hatched and there was a cute duckling in my hands. I held it close to my body and it smiled at me. Then a fox leapt out of the woods by the stream and ran straight towards the duck. When it got there, the duck and the fox gave each other a hug while some rabbits nearby looked on. It was then that I woke up, and when I did, I cried. I cried, not because the dream wasn't real, but because not everybody gets to have dreams as beautiful as that one!

Today I was sitting in a grassy knoll looking at the sky, when I noticed a cloud that looked just like a pony! Before I knew what was happening, my imagination took over and I was riding a flying pony! Boy oh boy is this going to be fun!

Since all my friends love ponies too, I decided to fly over and show them my new pony. I flew right past this beautiful rainbow and landed my pony. My friends were so excited that they gave each other big hugs. It was the happiest moment of our lives.

My adventure in Ponyland continued for a least a couple more seconds, but I remembered that I had a picnic basket with me! Picnics are so much fun. You get to spread out a checkered blanket and open your basket and eat lots of healthy food. I wish that every day could be a picnic. Before I could start eating, all my friends showed up. Luckily, I brought enough for everyone!

After we finished eating, we decided to pick some flowers. This will make a wonderful bouquet! Everyone picked their favorite flowers and we made our bouquet. We all decided that we would give it to our teachers, since we love school so much!

Golly, what a swell day this has been.
