The only reason women make 10% less than men is because they don't get paid to complain
Very few things piss me off more than when I hear women complaining about how, supposedly, "Women earn less money than men for the same work." Luckily, these few things are probably documented elsewhere on the site, but that's beside the point. Why do women keep making this false claim? Sure, maybe men get paid more for jobs like "professional basketball player" or "useful generic businessperson with worthless college degree in horrible and pointless major" but is that really indicative of all of society? Some women seem to think so, but I must rebut: what about porn stars and bikini-clad car-wash fundraisers? Do you really think men earn more money at that?
Some women complain that those are "special cases." Well have you ever thought about the possibility that those are actually the norm, and that the 98% of jobs where men earn more money than women are actually the exceptions? Plus, you say that most women don't want to "sell their bodies." Well if you're not willing to earn the money, that's not my problem now is it? And besides, professional sports players push their bodies so hard that they wear them out too quickly, and can hardly walk by the time they're pushing 40. If that's not "selling your body" then I don't know what is. So maybe you should stop complaining and tell the stupid people at the WNBA that nobody watches to quit their job as a "center" and try for "centerfold" instead. The jobs have basically the same requirements anyway...athletic women, thin, low percentage body fat, the abilityto put balls through holes.
And then there are the car-washers. I tried it once. I dressed up in a bikini and stood by the road with a sign, and I didn't even get so much as a courtesy brake or a honk. Mostly just a lot of dirty looks. The stupid sorority a few blocks down sure cleaned up, though. Now if that's not sexism, I don't know what is. You're eager to complain in some areas, but I don't see any of you rushing up to stuff a $20 into my underwear in the name of equality. Man, I think I hate hypocrites even more than I hate people that put up websites talking about things that piss them off and a bunch of hilarious movie reviews and articles too.
