Mothra vs. The Human Torch

With the possible exception of teenagers, I think that moths are the stupidest animals alive. They're the only creatures other than James Hetfield who will intentionally throw themselves into the blazing, fatal, incandescent phenomenon we know as "fire." Oh yeah, and this guy, too:

The thing is, though, moths definitely aren't doing it as a publicity stunt. They're just stupid, like Hetfield. There's no other explanation for the fact that they flock to a flame like moths to a flame.

While I was thinking about this, I realized that Mothra vs. Godzilla really isn't a fair fight. If Godzilla starts breathing fire, Mothra will just run right into it. Worse still, if it's not a cloudy day, Mothra would probably just fly into the sun. He's big and powerful enough that he could probably swing that, too. Maybe the 7-year sunspot cycle is related to the moth mating cycle...

On a somewhat related note, I hear that they're making a movie of The Fantastic Four. I wonder how they screened people for the role of "The Human Torch."—maybe there was an application where one of the questions was "do you look good on fire?" The first person brave enough to actually submit the application who isn't James Hetfield gets the job. That seems to make the most sense. If the movie isn't The Fantastic Four vs. Mothra, though, I'm not going.
