Gladiators broadcast between 10 1 and October 1992, also is a British tv entertainment collection, produced for ITV . It is an adaptation of this American structure American Gladiators. The series' success spawned adaptations . Once again being cancelled in 2009, the show was restored in 2008. John Fashanu and Ulrika Jonsson initially presented the show, however, Fashanu was substituted by Jeremy Guscott in 1997. Guscott abandoned the show and Fashanu returned in 1999 for the final show. The show had been refereed by John Anderson and also the timekeepers within the show's series were Derek Redmond Andrew Norgate and Eugene Gilkes. John Sachs was the commentator of that the show, and the show was followed closely by its own set of cheerleaders. Despite being created by London Weekend Television, all episodes of Gladiators, International Gladiators, the second show of The Ashes and also the show of The Springbok Challenge were listed in the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham. The Springbok Challenge's second show and the initial series of The Ashes were filmed on the collections of these shows' Australian and South African versions . The show also spawned a variation for kids, entitled Gladiators: Train 2 Win, which was aired on CITV between 1998 and 1995.
